according to albert

ACCORDING  to enstein its crazy do the same thing over & over again & expect different results.

in this circumstance im crazy
i'll admit.
when god created man he gave us the ablilty to choose
adam & eve show us that
their life didn't end
right after a bad choice
but still.. things were never the same

When this happens we're given a choice
to learn & move on
or to dwell & obsess & worry

its impossible to imagine a senario &
it happen exactly like that.
even if you are a master in reasoning & sociology

you cannot control people
you can only control you
& you can control how to react to the bad choice
you make or other people make

its crazy to think that
becoming bitter & cynical or worried & scared
over & over again will make any problems
go away.

there has to be a change
to alter the outcome

something beautiful

if something moves us in a way that
shakes part of our being
makes us realize something drastic

makes us look at our own lives

plays a melody on our heart strings

makes us re-evaluate our priorities

makes things click

or just makes us feel
anything

we call it beautiful.

but what do we call it when
something surpasses all expectations for 'beautiful'
do we call it
awe inspiring?
 magnificent?
breath-taking ?

does it make us speechless or
does it make us speak?

does it take our breath away or
make us breath deeper?

does it put us in a state of awe or
does it inspire?

i think the real question is
if we experience something
beautiful does it shape how we live our lives
does it change how we look at life
 or treasure it?

or is it just a moment of lost breath..

when the sun comes out

not every day of our lives
is the worst
 it could have been..
or the best

some days are just normal
with the absence of anything
out of the ordinary

maybe for some people that
could be their darkness.

no change good or bad.
just stuck.
chained to normalcy
caught in complacency
forgetting what they set out to
accomplish only working towards
the minimal.

There's no explanation
to why this happens to some people & not
others.

i think what has caused
it
for me
was a lack of optimism
a lack of purpose

What would be the point in working
towards a goal that doesn't even matter
to myself in the first place?

* 1st of all it matters what you want out of this life
It's important to stay true to who you are & if you're
someone who always cares about what
everyone else has to say.
that will factor in to what you do.

its the choices that make us who we are

if we never take a risk in reaching for a goal

we'll never live a fulfilled life

who wants to sit back at the end of their life
and say " well i played it safe, now its time to die..if only i could have done something to tell my grandchildren" ?

i don't think anyone does.

complacency is a dangerous thing

it can make us loose sight of our dreams

& lead us to live a life of

un-fulfillment.

"You must be the change you want to see in the world." - Mahatma Gandhi

I like what Gandhi says about this.

I want to be the person that i would like to look up to

be your own hero.

i'm not saying go out & do something you would regret.

what i mean is stay true to who you are & remember that
even though life may not be so
exciting right now
but the
future holds more than what we can imagine
if we go into it with a heart full of
hope

when everything falls

 life comes
at the the most opportune & the most inconvenient times

when it feels like you just want to get out

a blizzard shuts you in

& sometimes when you just want it to stop

in the middle of the night
its starts falling all over again

& we wake up to it

it can cover up the most vulnerable parts that we want
to hide

it can distract us from all the pain we're going through

or it make us realize that life happens if we want it to or not

we can let it bury us for a while or we can get lost in it

it can harden our hearts or it can put in dormant what is
too overwhelming

at the moment

what ever it is that makes us stop

slows us down

it doesn't stop life

maybe its just a distraction

i dont think anyone is ready when a loss comes

in a desert its expected to rain maybe 5 days out of the year

what isnt expected is for there to be a downpour for 5 days straight

the ground isnt prepared to soak up that much

its overwhelming.

sometimes we expect that when we get older we'll be able to

accept a death or a tragedy more easily

i dont think thats what comes with age

i dont think anyone is fully prepared for

everything to fall

but there is a god we can run to
when life does
become more than we can bear
he's there with his arms
wide open
& he's able to give us peace when

everything falls

snow

i love how snow just makes
everything  just slow down

i know that its annoying when you can drive & go
hang with people

but im not gonna lie it is beautiful

i woke up to it this morning/afternoon & it was

there

i love contrast.

& snow is the ultimate factor in it

it does get annoying after a while when
we're trying to
do normal things

& the snow makes it difficult

maybe its just a reminder to stop & enjoy

& marvel

& give global warming a nice taunting

:)

sky

have you ever looked at the sky.

having a rough day & just stepped out side &
gazed at it ?

why do we do this

let our minds run away

to where our bodies cant.

its calming.

i have a little relaxing ritual of my own

in my house there is a window that i

think has the best view of the sky

its nothing special & there are trees in the way

but i like to sit up against the wall & just stare.

i its like for a moment im lost.

i dont reflect on my day
because
i can do that when im lying awake at night trying shut off my brain
lol

but i just get lost.

Maybe thats why god gave us

such a beautiful
place to live

despite all the ugly around us.

its like he's whispering

" i made this for you"

like he knew things
 were gonna get rough

so he gave us some

beauty
that doesn't have

emotion

but we feel it

joy

a little theology if you will:)

joy is not being oblivious to pain or suffering
joy is finding peace regardless
it brings perseverance

joy isn't ignorance of reality

but embracing it

is strength
