not every day of our lives
is the worst
is the worst
it could have been..
or the best
some days are just normal
with the absence of anything
out of the ordinary
maybe for some people that
could be their darkness.
no change good or bad.
just stuck.
chained to normalcy
caught in complacency
forgetting what they set out to
accomplish only working towards
the minimal.
There's no explanation
to why this happens to some people & not
others.
i think what has caused
it
for me
was a lack of optimism
a lack of purpose
What would be the point in working
towards a goal that doesn't even matter
to myself in the first place?
* 1st of all it matters what you want out of this life
It's important to stay true to who you are & if you're
someone who always cares about what
everyone else has to say.
that will factor in to what you do.
its the choices that make us who we are
if we never take a risk in reaching for a goal
we'll never live a fulfilled life
who wants to sit back at the end of their life
and say " well i played it safe, now its time to die..if only i could have done something to tell my grandchildren" ?
i don't think anyone does.
complacency is a dangerous thing
it can make us loose sight of our dreams
& lead us to live a life of
un-fulfillment.
"You must be the change you want to see in the world." - Mahatma Gandhi
I like what Gandhi says about this.
I want to be the person that i would like to look up to
be your own hero.
i'm not saying go out & do something you would regret.
what i mean is stay true to who you are & remember that
even though life may not be so
exciting right now
but the
future holds more than what we can imagine
if we go into it with a heart full of
hope
